Breeze ALPA Pilot Support; Sample Ballot for Breeze AFA Election

Thank you to our Breeze ALPA Pilots for their support of our Breeze AFA Flight Attendant Union!

The Breeze Airways pilots, represented by the Air Line Pilots Association, Int’l (ALPA), issued the following statement in support of the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA, AFL-CIO (AFA) drive to organize the nearly 600 Breeze Airways flight attendants.

“We are extremely proud of our flight attendants as they take the next step in joining the AFA. Through the efforts of a well-established union, and with the protections of the Railway Labor Act, our flight attendants will soon have a voice in their own professional future and a seat at the table with Breeze management.

“Breeze pilots joined ALPA in 2022 and are working toward our first collective bargaining agreement. We are confident that the nearly 600 flight attendants will also realize the benefits of union representation—including having defined work rules and an established dispute-resolution process.”

NMB Issues Notice of Election and Sample Breeze AFA Ballot

One week to go and the NMB will mail our ballots so we can Vote YES for AFA!

The following notice was sent to corporate and their "labor consultant" from FordHarrison.

"Enclosed are copies of the Notice of Election, Sample Instructions and Sample Ballot in the above-captioned case. Upon receipt, the Notice, Sample Instructions and Sample Ballot must be promptly posted by the [management] on [Breeze Airways] bulletin boards and at other appropriate locations, including all locations where other notices to employees are usually posted. At least one Notice, Sample Instructions and Sample Ballot must be posted at each Carrier location. The Notice, Sample Instructions and Sample Ballot must be completely visible and remain posted until the Board advises the Carrier that this case has been closed."
