New Hire Welcoming

The primary role of this committee is to educate new employees about their rights, the benefits of union representation, and to build support for our union during and immediately following initial training.

Our New Hire Welcoming Committee focuses on:

• Making a friendly, initial connection to share why our union matters directly to new hires.
• Presenting information on our collective bargaining agreement, member benefits, and our union's mission.
• Educating Flight Attendants about their workplace rights and building solidarity from day one.
• Getting new members registered and engaging them in upcoming meetings, days of action, elections, and more. 
• Gathering membership forms and feedback on key issues or concerns new hires might already have. 
• Ensuring our union’s message is heard.
