Breeze AFA Officers
Breeze AFA Officers are elected by the membership to lead, manage, and act on behalf of our labor union and its members. Officers are trained by AFA and are responsible for enforcing collective bargaining agreements, creating an array of committees, managing the union’s finances, and engaging directly with its membership.
Officers occupy seats as members of AFA’s Board of Directors and attend annual meetings alongside 19 other airlines.
Robynne Martino started her airline career with Southwest in 2007 and worked there until she retired in 2022. That same year, she started at Breeze Airways and immediately saw the need for a Union here. She was instrumental in helping explain to Flight Attendants what a Union is and how it could help them.
Robynne's experience also includes 24 years in the US Navy, where she retired as a Chief Petty Officer. She has also owned her own Women's Fitness Center. She brings this vast experience in aviation, military, and business to the negotiations table every month to represent the interests of all Breeze Flight Attendants.
Robynne is the proud mother of two wonderful children, Ashleigh and Antoine. She has also been given the incredible blessing of having three adorable grandchildren, Pierce, Everleigh, and Scarlett. Her loving husband, Peter, has been her greatest supporter through everything.
Even before Breeze Flight Attendants were officially represented by AFA, Robynne began fostering a relationship with management based on mutual respect. She works diligently to bring our issues to management and does not back down easily. When Robynne is involved, management has no option to stay silent.
There is no better person to have on our side at the bargaining table than Robynne Martino. She has a strong character, invaluable experience, and is determined to get us the industry-leading first contract that we deserve.
Natalia Astudillo was hired as a Breeze Airways Flight Attendant in August 2021. By December of that year, she knew action needed to be taken to organize the Flight Attendants to properly self-advocate and began campaigning for representation through AFA.
Natalia brings over 20 years of Flight Attendant experience to Breeze AFA. She started her career with Colgan Air in 2005 and was trained on the Saab340, a twin-engine turboprop aircraft with only one Flight Attendant on board. Eventually she made her way to Air Wisconsin, and after spending a few years with them she spent the next 12 years of her career at Jetblue where she gained international and First Class experience as a Language of Destination (LOD) Flight Attendant.
Once Breeze unionized in May 2024, Natalia was elected to serve as Secretary Treasurer and has been serving in that capacity ever since. Natalia is very passionate about dedicating her time to her fellow Flight Attendants by always being willing to help, whether it's to answer simple questions or lend a listening ear. She mentors and leads by example. She holds herself to the highest standard and shows up to represent Breeze as the best possible Flight Attendant she can be, and she expects the same out of her Flying Partners. She flies full-time on the line and on her off days dedicates herself to educating her fellow Flight Attendants from across all bases on how to bid, how to read ELP to make sure they're paid right, and how to find important resources. She's made a commitment to serve.
