Fatigue Review Board

A union member appointed by the Master Executive Council (MEC) sits monthly with the Fatigue Review Board to thoroughly review and evaluate reports submitted by Flight Attendants. Our mission is to promote fatigue risk management and maintain the highest safety standards across our network.

The Fatigue Review Board collaborates to:

• Review and evaluate all employee fatigue reports submitted throughout the month.
• Examine root causes and conditions leading to fatigue events.
• Identify operational vs. non-operational fatigue factors to effectively mitigate safety risks.
• Detect causal factors, patterns, and common trends affecting crew members.
• Recommend actionable improvements to scheduling practices, rest provisions, and operational safety.
